It is easy to change your project's current style to a different one.
Click the project's link in the Style column OR select Change style from the Options menu on the right.
On the new screen that comes up, select the citation style you want. NoodleTools will first create a backup copy of your current project, in case you need to refer back to it.
Because MLA, APA, and Chicago styles follow different rules, be sure to read NoodleTools' review of their differences.
If the citation style is not showing up as a hyperlink, there are three possible reasons:
1. It is a collaborative project, and someone else is currently working on it. Once they have logged out, you'll be able to make the change.
2. It is a an old project, created with old citation forms from 2012 or earlier. Those old projects cannot be converted between styles.
3. The project has not been converted to the current edition of the style. For example, we currently use MLA 8th edition formatting, so if you have a project created prior to August 6th, 2016 (when we switched from 7th ed. to 8th ed. formatting), and you haven't opened the project yet to allow it to auto-convert to 8th edition formatting, the citation style hyperlink will not display.
