Instructions
You can add a tag to a notecard by (a) typing words (each tag separated by a comma) into the "Tags" field of the Edit/New notecard window, or (b) mousing-over a notecard on the Notecard Tabletop, selecting the Apply Tag ("#") icon, and typing words into the search field that opens. If you need to edit or remove tags you've created, you'll need to use the tag management window described below.
Step 1:
In the Tabletop View click the "more options" icon button (three dots) at the top of the screen and select "Manage tags."
Step 2:
In the "Manage tags" window that opens, click Options next to the tag you want to edit or delete.
Hint:
To create multiple-word tags, use double quotes, e.g. "global warming."
Step 3:
Click "Edit" to change the tag (or fix a spelling mistake). To remove the tag, click "Delete." You will be asked if you are sure you want to remove the tag. Make your choice and return to the "Manage tags" window.
Step 4:
While new tags are generally added directly as you work on your notecards, you do have the option to add new tags here as well, by clicking the New tag button. Type one or two words and click the Add Tag button to add that new tag to the list.
