Overview: Citations can be duplicated or copied between projects. You might duplicate a citation if you are citing two web pages from one web site, so that you only need to change the title and URL fields. Or you might want to copy a citation from an old project if you are reusing that source in a current paper.

Instructions
Step 1:
On the Sources screen, next to the citation you want to copy, click the "More options" icon button (three dots) and choose "Copy."

Note: To copy multiple citations at one, mouse-over the darker gray area immediately to the left of the first citation (or on an iPad, long-press on a citation) to reveal the multi-select checkboxes, mark the checkboxes next to the entries you wish to copy, and click "Copy" in the options window that comes up at the top of the screen.

Step 2:
In the "Copy citations" window, select an option:
- "The project I have open": Duplicates the citation in the open project.
- "Another project in this folder": Copies the citation into a different project. The target project must be the same citation style and be of equal or higher level. For example, a citation in an APA Junior project can be copied to another APA Junior or Advanced project, but not into a Starter-level project or into an MLA or Chicago-style project.
Step 3:
Click Submit.
