Instructions
Step 1:
In your project, open the Sources screen.
Step 2:
Open an article in World Book Student. Scroll to the bottom of the article and click "How to cite this article."
Note that some articles include media like a photograph or map that you can potentially cite independently, if you didn't use the article as a whole in your research. Click the Cite (quotation mark) icon from the media view to do that.
Step 3:
On the screen that comes up with World Book's own citation guides, click "Export to NoodleTools."
Step 4:
On the NoodleTools import screen, the citation style displayed will match the citation style of the NoodleTools project that you currently have open.
If there are errors in the imported data, you will be able to make edits to it after you import the citation to your project. Click the blue "Import" button.
When the citation is imported, NoodleTools confirms with a green message box.
Step 5:
Close the the import screen browser tab to return to the Sources screen. Reload the page to view the new source citation. The entry will indicate that the citation was imported from the database, which helps remind you that you may need to make some edits.
