Overview: You may "pin" up to 5 notecards and/or notecard piles on each page of your Notecard Tabletop View. When a notecard or pile is pinned, it displays in a special region at the top of the screen and cannot be moved until you unpin it. There are a number of different reasons you might find it useful to pin something -- here are a few we thought of, but you may have more:

  • Keep track of which notecard(s) you are currently working on
  • Keep a template/model notecard easily accessible
  • Show a teacher the notecard(s) you need help with

Instructions


Pinning:

In the Tabletop View, mouse-over a notecard or notecard pile and click the "More" icon (three dots). Select "Pin Notecard" (or "Pin Pile"). The notecard or notecard pile is moved to the top of the screen in the "Pinned" section. 



Unpinning:

To unpin a notecard or notecard pile in the "Pinned" section, mouse-over it, click the "More" icon, and select "Unpin Notecard" (or "Unpin Pile"). The notecard or notecard pile is moved back to the main area of the Tabletop View (to the location it was prior to being pinned).
